Kerry Burke

Kerry Burke is a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience working with children, adolescents and families in a variety of settings.  This has included hospitals, community based services and private practice.  She is currently employed as a Senior Clinical Psychologist at Psychology SA .

Kerry has wide experience in psychological assessment and established the Children’s Early Developmental Assessment Service (CEDAS) which is now a part of Psychology SA.  She is able to assess and diagnose a range of conditions including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, specific learning disorders and intellectual disability.  Kerry is passionate about understanding the whole child and works very much from a strengths based framework to help children reach their potential.

Kerry enjoys working therapeutically with a broad range of areas including anxiety and depression.  She also consults with the Independent Schools Association to work closely with many Adelaide schools around ways to support children with mental health diagnoses and challenging behaviour.  She often runs workshops for parents and teachers on a variety of areas including Growth Mindset, ways to support mental wellbeing, understanding challenging behaviour, anxiety and autism spectrum disorder.
