Sara McLean

Sara is a registered psychologist who has been working in the area of child and adolescent mental health since 1997. Prior to joining Psychology SA, Sara worked at the Australian Centre for Child Protection; where her work focused on children living with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. Sara is experienced in working with children experiencing anxiety, depression, sleep disorders and social difficulties.  Sara has a special interest in supporting children with developmental difficulties and concerning behaviours, including those living in foster care and residential care settings and those at risk of entering the youth justice system. She is the author of the Fostering Difference website and the book 'Parenting the Traumatised Child with Developmental Differences'.
